Lolliβs Biography
I'm an award-winning food, drink and product photographer with a passion for creating beautiful, thoughtful imagery that tells the story behind every brand. My background in hospitality gives me an instinctive understanding of food, from how it's prepared to how it should be presented, and I bring that experience to every shoot.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I trained at catering college and worked in hotels and restaurants, both in the kitchen and front of house. From assisting a French pastry chef to silver service and restaurant management, those years gave me a genuine appreciation for the craftsmanship, creativity and dedication behind every dish and product.
I later moved into marketing, where I developed a real love of branding, colour, design and visual storytelling. That experience shapes the way I approach photography today, creating images that are not only beautiful but also communicate the personality and values of a brand.
I still have a passion for great food (and a serious sweet tooth!) which makes photographing it one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
I live with my husband on the beautiful 'Secret Coast' of Dumfries and Galloway, where my studio is surrounded by hills, farmland, forests and coastline. It's an inspiring place to work, and I regularly welcome producers and brands looking for creative studio photography, as well as travelling for location shoots.
Alongside my commercial work, my fine art photography has been exhibited internationally and has received a number of awards. You can also explore my timeless black and white photography in the Fine Art gallery. here,
